So far studies have shown that Greek libidos are flagging as a result of the country’s economic crisis, however new research published in Thrillist has come to disprove the notion! Dr. Simon Hardy of the University of Worcester states that the downturn in the economy hasn’t affected the confidence level of Greeks at all in his study “The Greeks, Eroticism and Ourselves.”

Greece was dubbed the most sexually active nation of them all with ultra-sexual symposiums thriving to this very day (just look at Mykonos!). According to the study, Greeks invented rhetoric that comes in handy for someone who wants to turn a ‘no’ to a ‘yes’… ‘Creative vagueness’ may be a failure at Eurogroup meetings, but it can be used to set bedrooms on fire.

Flirting comes naturally to most Greeks who sometimes cross the line from playfulness to creepy. The study was based on the opinions of an online audience at Reddit and Quora as well as statistics concerning online flirtations, sexual harassment and sexual activity in general.
