Unknown individuals burned the Greek flag outside the office of the minority political organization “OMONOIA” at Agioi Saranta, Albania.

The president of the organization, Leonidas Papas characterized it “a barbaric and obscurantist attack that challenges the feelings of Greeks and Albanians”. Mr. Papas said that behind this attack were Albanian nationalists avoiding, though, to refer to an organized plan. However, he pointed out that a few days ago strangers took the Greek flag down from its pole.
