Greek government is in great frustration after the clear denial of the opposition parties to support the draft law on social security reform and the revelations on the pension cuts provided in the new draft law, while it still waits on Greece’s lenders comments.
The ominous prospect for government’s plans and the harsh criticism received by the opposition which refused to consent to its austerity policy and pension cuts has caused great frustration at Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and its government.
However, the government tries to overcome the harsh criticism faced from all opposition parties by attacking and resorting to accusations saying that pension cuts were made by previous governments of New Democracy and PASOK, while it did not hesitate to claim that “pensioners can see a prospect from of 2018” as government’s spokesperson argued yesterday.
