The representatives of institutions presented on Thursday their own proposal for the tax bracket that Greek government is called to vote so as to conclude the program review.

According to information, the proposal submitted provides:

– reduction of the discount of 2,100 euros tax which applies up to now to 1,700 euros. This means that those tax payers will pay 300 or 400 euros more compared with what applies today.

– reduction of the non-taxable amount of income from 9,550 euros to just 7,000-8,000 euros, while deductions for highest incomes, more than 42,000 euros per year, remain the same.
