A poll conducted last week (May 30- June 2) by Alco on behalf of Proto Thema news paper shows that the main opposition party New Democracy leads over ruling party SYRIZA by 7.5%.
As the poll reveals, the citizens are greatly disappointed by government’s policy and strategy. Only one out of ten respondents believe that the new measures will help Greece exit crisis and return to economic growth, while 82% of the respondents answered negatively to the relative question.
The results of the poll show that New Democracy (ND) is leading with 25.4%, while SYRIZA gets 17.9%. The results for the other parties are the following: Golden Dawn 8.1%, Communist Party of Greece (KKE) 6.5%, Democratic coalition 4.3%, Popular unity 3.1%, Union of Centrists 3%, Independent Greeks (ANEL) 2.5%, Plefsi Eleftherias 2.4%, Potami 2.2%, other party 5% and undecided 19.6%.
