Greek police have involved in a month-long investigation examining allegations of a 45-year-old Greek woman who claimed she had been gang-raped by three masked men in Chalkida, Euboea. Accompanied by her husband the woman reported the alleged incident to police on February 5, alleging she had been attacked and raped by three men wearing masks on the same day while walking alone in the street. She claimed the masked men took her to a secluded area where, according to her account she was subjected to unspeakable acts. Police have passes on the cue to the local Prosecutor of Chalkida, who in turn ordered a medical examination of the mother. Police are continuing their investigations under secrecy to detect the alleged culprits.
