Fans and people across the globe were devastated by the tragic news of the death of Kobe Bryant in a helicopter crash in which his 13-year-old daughter Gianna also lost her life. His impact on the game as whole can hardly be overstated. The legend was soon to inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame.

To honour him, a fan has started an online petition to change the NBA logo into a silhouette of the former Lakers player. The initiative has garnered over 114,000 signatures so far.
