A man and his daughter came face to face with a wolf in Mount Parnitha in Attica when the animal attacked their dog. Myradio 104.6 program director Nikos Nikolakopoulos recounted his terrifying experience as he and his daughter were walking in Parnitha when a black wolf grabbed their dog between its jaws.

“I turn around and see my daughter in back and the dog, which has been bitten by a black wolf. I am in shock, I cry out loudly, I raise my hands high,” said Nikos Nikolakopoulos.

His daughter, out of fear, left the leash and the wolf grabbed the dog and disappeared into the forest. He tried to scare the wolf to save the dog. “We could not have returned as he attacked, of course, he attacked the dog, but I could be me or much worse my daughter,” he said.
