Turkish Air Force violates Greek airspace 47 times – Greek and Turkish fighters engage in 7 dogfights

The Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules of engagement by the Hellenic Air Force (HAF)

The Turkish provocations in the Aegean Sea continued with undiminished intensity over the Northeastern, Central, and Southeastern parts of the sea. The latest violations involved three UAVs, 30 Turkish electronic warfare aircraft, a twin-turbocharged aircraft, and 13 fighter jets that committed 47 violations. Nine pairs of two F-16s and one pair of four F-16s flew in ten formations. Ten of the aircraft were armed. Also, 18 infringements of the Greek FIR were recorded, while there were seven instances of dog fights reported.
