Famous Greek actress Dina Konsta passed away at the age of 83. The sad news was relayed by the president of the Greek actors, Spyros Bibilas, in a post on social media.
In the 90s she became known through the legendary role of “Denis Markoras” in “Two Strangers”, which even today is considered a particularly popular role in pop culture.
She graduated from Kostis Michaelidis Drama School, while at the same time she was working in a paint company to pay for her studies.
She studied acting secretly from her parents under the tutelage of Mary Aroni. She made her debut on the Free Stage in 1965. In the 80s and 90s, she participated in television series with some of the most widely-known roles being those in the series “Three Graces”, “Dis Examartain” and “Soi Ma”.
She never married because she didn’t like the commitment of marriage.
