International Greek playmaker Nick Calathes has signed a contract with Turkish club Fenerbahce.
Although Panathinaikos BC had submitted two tempting offers to the international guard as revealed by Gazzetta, he preferred to continue his career in the team coached by Dimitris Itoudis.
Fenerbahce announced the agreement with the 33-year-old playmaker, who agreed to end his contract with Barcelona and become a resident of Constantinople. The Turkish team will be the 5th stop in Calathes’s career after Panathinaikos, Lokomotiv Kuban, Memphis Grizzlies, and Barcelona.
In total, he has played in 237 EuroLeague games averaging 9.4 points, 6.1 assists, 3.6 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 2.3 turnovers, shooting 51% on 2-pointers, and 28.9% on 3-pointers, and 54.8% on field goals.
