This is how the leader of the Brothers of Italians (FdI), the party she co-founded in 2012 and from 4% in 2018, that is, within four years, came to exceed 26% and is preparing to lead the Italian government coalition together with the parties of Matteo Salvini and Silvio Berlusconi, introduces herself.
Already, since 2019, with her “fiery” speeches, Meloni made sure to leave a mark on both her politics and her intentions. “Io sono Georgia” is going viral and relevant again, while Meloni herself is introducing herself today as a center-right conservative.
As such, she is expected to rise to be Prime Minister, as there is no doubt that she is a representative of the trend that is flourishing throughout Europe and defines itself as the “New Right”, while some also characterize it as Alt Right (Alternative Right).
“Io sono Georgia”, after all, is also the title of the 45-year-old politician’s autobiography.
