The West’s concern about the relationship between the Russian president and the Chechen leader is evident a few days after Ramzan Kadyrov, addressing Vladimir Putin, called on him to drop low-yield nukes.
After the horror caused by Kadyrov’s incendiary statements, Putin awarded the former the rank of lieutenant general, congratulating him on his birthday.
At the same time, there are rumors that Kadyrov is to be Russia’s next defense minister.
It is noted that since the beginning of the Russian invasion, he has openly stood by Putin’s side, providing Moscow with support.
The Kadyrov regime is asking men to beat women protesting conscription.

Chechnya’s leader said on Monday he would send his teenage sons, including his 14-year-old son Adam, to fight in Ukraine.
“The time has come for them to prove their worth in a real battle, and I welcome their desire,” Kadyrov said in a Telegram post.
“Soon they will go to the front line and be in the most difficult parts of the contact line”, he said, adding that his statement was aimed at “those who claim that my loved ones are not participating in the special military operation”.
In addition, he said Akmat (16), Eli (15) and Adam (14) have been trained to fight “pretty much since childhood” and insisted he was “not kidding”.
