The Greek Minister of Health, Thanos Plevris called the Supreme Court’s ruling for the restoration of medical staff who were unvaccinated  “dangerous for public health”.

In an interview on SKAI TV, the Minister pointed out that although he “Respected the decision” by the country’s high court he added it was “dangerous” for public health.

Asked to comment on the decision, on SKAI, Plevris reiterated that the ministry will respect the decision and that 2,190 people who have not been vaccinated will return to work from January 1.

The measure of the ministry will not be extended, said the Minister, adding, however, that the decision is a “defeat” for public health.
