A 17-year-old Dutch teen was temporarily detained after he pleaded guilty to the sexual abuse of a 9-year-old girl in Thessaloniki. The accused denied the charge before the investigator.

The 17-year-old was arrested in Oreokastro, after a complaint was filed by the mother of a minor girl. Based on what the mother reported, the 17-year-old was staying at their home in October, during which time the defendant committed lewd acts against the 9-year-old girl.

The suspect was detected on January 3 in the area of ​​Oreokastro. When the police asked to check him he refused and fled on foot, however, they immobilised him and arrested him.
