An elderly American couple has mysteriously vanished from their home in Methoni Greece and the daughter has issued a shocking request to the public while the desperate search continues.

The disappearance of the American couple, 83-year-old David Harrison Robinson and his 80-year-old wife, Lucretia Robinson, is turning into a thriller.

The story has become more troubling, as officials from the Silver Alert service in Greece are concerned with the posts of the couple’s daughter, who constantly makes mention of the death of her parents without any information and findings that lead to this conclusion. The girl, who lives permanently in America, has been in despair since the day her parents disappeared and is claiming they took their own lives.

Their daughter Julianna Robinson wrote Sunday on her Facebook: “As of today, my parents are officially missing and are presumed dead of their own volition.”

The Silver Alert service, which has received witness reports claiming to have seen the elderly couple walking in central streets, in the city of Kalamata and Elefsina, is requesting the couple’s daughter to remain calm until any new information is cross-referenced by the authorities and the volunteers in order to locate the elderly couple as quickly as possible. Reports indicate that the couple loved life and had no reason to end their lives.

The couple had left America and lived for years in their own house in the area of ​​Dapia Methoni overlooking the sea and the castle. They had also become friendly with several of the permanent residents. Their friend from the area is also the woman who reported them missing on February 6th at the Kalamata police station and who started looking for them by phone on January 23rd. The female friend of the couple told police that she failed to contact them despite calling them many times, which led her to contact the couple’s daughter. The two decided to file a missing person report.

The daughter’s fears for the fate of her parents grow as there are many days that the couple is away from their home without giving any signs of life.
