Marc post-train crash poll – ND leads SYRIZA by 4.6%

Mitsotakis still leads on who is more suitable to be PM

Newsroom March 9 08:23

The ruling New Democracy (ND) party maintains a 4.6-point-lead over SYRIZA, according to a poll by Marc aired on Ant-1 TV on Thursday’s nightly news bulletin.

In terms of voting intention, the ruling party remains first with 29.6% and SYRIZA follows with 25%. In third place is PASOK with 9.7%, followed by KKE at 6.6%, Hellenic Solution at 3.9%, and MeRA25 at 3.5%. The “National Greek Party” is on the threshold of the 3% limit required to enter the Parliament.

Marc’s poll is the first to be carried out since the fatal train crash in Larissa and according to the findings, ND is losing 2.9 points in voter intention from 32.5% in February. However, it is also noteworthy that SYRIZA does not seem to have gained benefits from the tragedy in Tempi (it was at 25.1% in February).
