A new 3.1 Richter earthquake occurred today in Ioannina after the 4.4 Richter earthquake that hit the same area yesterday.
The new tremor occurred 20 kilometers north of Aetomilitsa, Ioannina.
Earlier on Friday morning shortly before 4 am, an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale was reported.
The epicentre of the tremor was located 15 kilometers north-northwest of Aetomylitsa and the focal depth was estimated at 13.1 kilometers, according to the Geodynamic Institute.
