Three men were arrested after a 22-year-old woman alleged she was gang raped while leaving a fair in Tyrnavos, Larissa on Saturday.
The three suspects are accused of rape, while the police also handcuffed another man who was accused of complicity.
Because the four arrested are minors – they are all 16 and 17 years old – their parents were also arrested and it is expected that they will all be brought to the Prosecutor’s Office.
According to information from local media, the three arrested are residents of Tyrnavos.
According to the same information, two other young men are under police investigation, as the woman said there were “4-5 people”.
The 22-year-old stated in her complaint that she was initially attacked by these people while she was leaving the bazaar in Tyrnavos to return to Larissa.
According to the 22-year-old’s complaint, the people who attacked and raped her are Greeks.
