Five dead Houthi rebels from US & UK airstrikes in Yemen (videos)

The Iranian-backed group defied a warning to stop targeting ships in the Red Sea

Newsroom January 12 01:11

Five Houthi rebels were killed and six others wounded in air and sea strikes launched by Britain and the US against military targets in Yemen yesterday, in response to the rebels’ attacks on ships in the Red Sea in response to Israeli bombardment of Gaza.

The raids last night hit airports and other facilities in cities under the control of the Houthi rebels, especially the capital Sanaa, the strategic port of Hodeidah, Saada and Taiz, according to information from the Al-Masira TV network, which is close to the rebels, and officials.

In today’s announcement, the Houthi military spokesman spoke of 73 strikes by the US and Britain, which resulted in the death of at least five people.

These raids resulted in the death of five martyrs and the wounding of six other members of our armed forces”, Yahya Sharea wrote on X, stating that this “aggression will not go unanswered”.

Mitsotakis: “Farmers will receive every euro they are entitled to — Solutions come through dialogue, not roadblocks”

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis assured farmers that all payments owed to them will be delivered in full, emphasizing that while agricultural workers have every right to demand more support, “extreme forms of protest, such as roadblocks, may exert pressure but ultimately disrupt daily life and do not help us move forward faster”
