The UK and the US are currently engaged in fresh military strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen, as revealed by US officials to CBS.

These strikes, occurring in tandem with previous actions against Houthi cruise missiles announced earlier by the US on Saturday, mark the third joint operation between the two nations.

The US Central Command for the Middle East (CENTCOM) previously declared that the strikes were conducted in legitimate defense against six Houthi anti-ship cruise missiles, perceived as an imminent threat to US Navy ships and merchant vessels in the Red Sea.
