Doritos has fired a trans-identifying male influencer who reportedly posted sexual comments about children in the past.
Over the weekend, Samantha Hudson, a trans-identifying man and social media influencer, appeared in a 50-second Instagram promo called “Crunch Talks” for Doritos Spain, which is part of PepsiCo Spain.
A Doritos Spain spokesperson told Rolling Stone that the company had launched a campaign with Hudson on Sunday before they were aware of his previous comments.
On Monday, after the company was “made aware of Samantha’s deleted Tweets from around 2015,” the spokesperson said the Instagram video was removed.

“We have ended the relationship and stopped all related campaign activity due to the comments,” the Doritos Spain spokesperson said. “We strongly condemn words or actions that promote violence or sexism of any kind.”
