Despite the losses, New Democracy maintains a strong lead over the second-placed SYRIZA in the ALCO poll, approaching the percentages of the 2019 European elections, as the company estimates it in this conjuncture from 29% to 33%.
PASOK, remaining stable in voting intention among valid voters, holds the third position in this measurement, with an upper limit of 14%, while SYRIZA reaches up to 16%.
New Democracy loses another 1.4 percentage points compared to the March measurement, while SYRIZA gains 1.8 points and PASOK practically remains stable, with a loss of 0.1 point. However, a large majority – 57% – does not desire early elections with Mitsotakis’s resignation and international observers, as requested by Stefanos Kasselakis.
Greek Solution gains ground, holding the fourth position ahead of the Communist Party (KKE), and Course of Freedom, which recorded 3.5% – presumably due to its strong presence in the Parliament during the vote of no confidence debate.
It is noted that according to the survey results, 75% are not convinced that there is no attempt to cover up the tragedy of the Tempi even after the debate in the Parliament, while 49% – an increase of 9 points compared to February – state that the European elections are an opportunity for protest voting.
