Metallica’s singer, James Hetfield, chose a unique way to honor Motorhead’s Lemmy, as revealed in a photo posted on Instagram.
He got a tattoo mixing the ink with the ashes of his famous friend.
Hetfield’s photo was posted on Metallica’s Instagram account, showcasing the tattoo of the “Aces of Spades” ace, like the famous song by Motorhead, to their 11 million followers.

Lemmy, whose real name was Ian Kilmister, was the founder and lead singer of Motorhead. He passed away in December 2015, just a few days after being diagnosed with cancer.
It not the first time that this has happened, though, as Motorhead’s crew did the same back in 2022 to honour him.
