The vibration had a focal depth of ten kilometres

A 4.4 magnitude earthquake occurred on Friday morning in Samos.

The tremor occurred 11 kilometers east northeast of Karlovassio Samos and had a focal depth of 10km.

The initial estimate from the Geodynamic Seismological Institute was at 4.6 Richter, however the Institute led downwards.
