Euroleague: Maccabi – Panathinaikos for the Euroleague Final Four qualification

The team from Israel, after their victory on Holy Tuesday, leads 2-1 and if they win on Holy Thursday (21:45), they advance to the Final Four

Newsroom May 2 11:48

Both Olympiacos and Panathinaikos are with their backs against the wall regarding their qualification for the Euroleague Final Four.

In the third game of the quarterfinals, Olympiacos was defeated 82-80 by Barcelona at the SEF and must win on Holy Thursday (19:45) to tie the series at 2-2 and send it to Barcelona.

The referees for the game at the SEF were Ilija Belosevic (Serbia), Mendi Difala (France), and Milan Nedovic (Slovenia), with Olympiacos “calling out” for the return of Satoransky (a decision upheld by Euroleague) and for the foul by Petrousev on Parker (a correct decision according to Euroleague).
