The fire that burned down the food factory in Lamia was started intentionally, according to estimates by the fire brigade.
It was the factory where the ready-made meals distributed to schools in the area were produced and several students had suffered from food poisoning in the days before the fire.

According to the same information, the relevant prosecutor has already been informed of the evidence so far, while the investigation is continuing in order to find more relevant evidence and to identify the persons behind the fire.

“The next picture shows the uncooked burger. It’s uncooked. They had too many in many schools, we just found this one. It is distributed to all the schools,” he said.
“The next picture is chicken which you can see on top if you zoom in that it doesn’t have, it still has feathers on it,” he said. “The next one is broccoli which was uncooked most of the time and the legumes uncooked, but what about, caterpillars have been found in the broccoli too many times.
