In the same area, last Friday, a 25-year-old Afghan man injured a total of six people, including a police officer, at Mannheim’s central market square during an event organized by the anti-Islamist movement Pax Europa (BPE). The 29-year-old police officer succumbed to his injuries after fighting for his life for three days.
The German network N-TV provided detailed coverage of the attack that occurred yesterday.
The incident began when AfD candidate Heinrich Koch saw three men tearing down posters of his party, “Alternative for Germany,” in Mannheim square.
