“With the coordinated cleanup action we carried out in six different spots in the city, parks, and squares, we are sending a clear message that the dictatorship of ugliness has no place in this city. The abuse of public space cannot be accepted indefinitely. The ‘Clean Thessaloniki’ initiative must be taken into the hands of the citizens. We will regularly repeat these initiatives and want them to be as massive as possible. Our city is beautiful, and we want to keep it beautiful. This is in all our hands! A big thank you to all the volunteers who participated in the action and to Isomat Greece for providing all the cleaning materials.”
