Mondo Duplantis is making the most of his vacation in Greece, and in the latest snapshots shared by his girlfriend on Instagram, the Olympic pole vault champion is seen posing on a boat with the Greek flag in the background.

The Swedish superathlete, who holds eight world records, started his vacation in Santorini.

His partner, who is a model, makes sure to share moments from their holiday, and early on Monday, August 12, she posted new photos featuring the beautiful Greek waters. Among other things, the 24-year-old dived into the sea from the yacht they were cruising on.

In another video, it appears that Duplantis wrapped the medal in a restaurant napkin after losing the special Louis Vuitton case in Paris. He requested the organizers to send him another one.

According to the Athens News Agency (APE-MPE), “Manolo” revealed that he was the one who arranged the vacation in Greece and helped with the logistics.

The two have been through all the youth championships together and have built a strong friendship, which was evident in Paris. Because sports are not just about what happens on the field, but also what remains of it.
