A notable incident took place at the Cypriot border involving a Greek national. According to Turkish authorities, a Greek truck driver allegedly injured a Turkish motorcyclist who attempted to overtake the truck by approaching from the opposite direction. The motorcyclist’s attempt to pass on the side of the vehicle resulted in the collision.

The Greek driver then allegedly moved in a threatening manner towards Turkish police officers, who shot and slightly wounded him in the leg and arrested him. According to initial reports, the man is a man with psychiatric problems.
