Illia “Golem” Yefimchyk, widely regarded as the world’s most terrifying bodybuilder, has passed away at the age of 36 from a heart attack. The Belarusian bodybuilder, who was known as “The Alien” in the bodybuilding world due to his massive physique, claimed to have biceps measuring 63.5 cm in diameter.
Russian media reported that Yefimchyk suffered a heart attack at his home on September 6th. His wife, Anna, was the first to provide aid, performing CPR until paramedics arrived and transported him to the hospital.
Anna later shared, “I stayed by his side every day, hoping. His heart started beating again for two days, but the doctor told me he was brain dead. I am grateful for all the support. It’s comforting to know I’m not alone.”
Yefimchyk followed a rigorous diet to maintain his physique, consuming 16,500 calories daily, including 2.5 kg of steak and over 100 pieces of sushi. He drew inspiration from action stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, lifting impressive weights—up to 270 kg on the bench press, 317 kg in deadlift, and 317 kg in squats.
