At least nine civilians were wounded, including a child, late Sunday night due to airstrikes by Russia in Zaporizhia in Ukraine (southeast), officials said today.

Rescue crews evacuated residents from apartment buildings that were damaged, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said via Telegram. According to initial information, guided bombs dropped from aircraft were used, according to the same source.

There has been no comment from Russia at this stage.
