Metron Analysis: 30.2% for ND, SYRIZA falls further – Fight for 4 in PASOK

Geroulanos more popular among those who will vote in the PASOK elections - Diamantopoulou won impressions among those who watched the debate - The expulsion of Kasselakis was a mistake

Newsroom September 26 09:12

Two points up compared to the European elections, Metron Analysis recorded ND in its vote rating, in a poll presented on Mega channel, while SYRIZA continues on a downward trajectory, recording a 0.7-point drop in the same period and appears in fifth place with only 6% positive opinions in its rating, behind KKE and Hellenic Solution. PASOK increases its distance with SYRIZA and comes second, with a distance above the statistical error threshold from KKE. In fact, in the evaluation it registers 18% positive opinions – three times as many as SYRIZA, and 8 points lower than ND, which has 26% positive opinions.

Characteristic of the political scene is the fact that now 10 parties are now struggling to pass the 3% threshold for parliamentary representation, with the MP25 at 3.3% in 10th place.

The interest in the PASOK election

The percentage of those who said they would probably or definitely go to vote in the PASOK election was measured at 29% of the sample. According to Metron Analysis, this interest is marginally higher than that recorded in November 2021, before the previous internal party elections.

In terms of the preferences of those who say they will go to vote, Nikos Androulakis seems to strengthen his position compared to the previous measurement – he is first with 31%, compared to 24% for Anna Diamantopoulou, 22% for Charis Doukas and 12% for Pavlos Geroulanos in the measurement completed before the teleconference.

However, Metron conducted a special measurement on a sample of 811 citizens the day after the telecombat – asking who stood out in it, regardless of whether those who responded intended to vote in the intra-party elections. In this count, Anna Diamantopoulou leads among those who said they watched it, while Nikos Androulakis leads among those who merely heard about the debate.

Interestingly, according to the results of the general survey – before the debate – only Pavlos Geroulanos can hope to win the second round of the elections against Nikos Androulakis.

The dismissal of Kasselakis is a mistake, says 53% of Syriza voters

53% of SYRIZA voters say the dismissal of Stefanos Kasselakis is a mistake, but 48% call for the election of a new president and only 43% for his re-election.
