Crime in Athens: The brothers who killed their cousin claimed the 28-year-old was abusing them

A 17-year-old and a 19-year-old surrendered to the police

The two brothers who killed the 28-year-old man in Athens claimed they had been abused by their cousin.

It all happened around 10:50 p.m. Monday night when traffic police officers moving toward Patision saw the man bleeding on the ground. The injured man, 28 years old from Albania, was taken by ambulance to Evangelismos hospital where he died a few hours later.

Searches followed to locate the perpetrators, but after an hour two brothers, 17 and 19 years old, appeared at Kypseli police station and surrendered with the 17-year-old saying he was the perpetrator of the crime.

The two brothers claimed the 28-year-old was abusing them, but no more has yet been learned about the case.

The victim,it was later revealed, that was a cousin of the two brothers.
