The fainting of a student on Thursday (October 24) at the school complex housing the 6th and 2nd Vocational High Schools in Patras was due to meningitis.
According to information from thebest.gr, the girl collapsed during class and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. After examination, she was diagnosed with meningitis and is currently being treated at Agios Andreas Hospital.
Following immediate notification from hospital doctors, the school decided to close temporarily for preventive health measures.
