Giovanni Tronchetti Provera is the son of former Telecom Italia chairman Marco Tronchetti. His mother, Cecilia, is a descendant of Pirelli founder Giovanni Battista.

After completing his law studies, the 41-year-old Giovanni joined the family business in the Finance department. Since late 2023, he has been serving as the Executive Vice President of Sustainability.
He holds multiple roles, including Director of Marco Tronchetti Provera & C. S.p.A., CEO of Camfin S.p.A., Camfin Alternative Assets S.r.l., and Longmarch Holding S.r.l., as well as Director of the Silvio Tronchetti Provera Foundation. Additionally, he is a board member of Assolombarda and the European Institute of Oncology.
Giovanni prefers to keep his personal life private and has not been a focus of media attention. About a year ago, he separated from his wife, Nicole Mühlhausen, with whom he was married for seven years and has three children.
Interestingly, his connection with Chiara Ferragni may have been sparked by their children, as they reportedly attend the same school as Ferragni’s children.
