The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine appeared critical of Western countries that closed their embassies in Kyiv.
Western countries, including the US, Spain, Italy and Greece, have decided to close their embassies because of a possible risk of massive Russian raids.
They have announced that they are suspicious of a possible threat of a Russian military attack.
However, Kyiv notes that the threat has been the same every day since the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022.
“The threat of bombing (…) has unfortunately been a daily reality for Ukrainians for more than a thousand days,” a Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman said in a statement, and urged Westerners not to “fuel the tension” by closing their embassies.
