After a frantic effort and a large-scale operation by the Greek Police, who escorted the ambulance to the hospital for swift transportation, the child ultimately passed away despite the doctors’ heroic attempts to save him.

According to reports, the incident occurred at 7 PM when the child began to feel unwell and complained to his mother about difficulty breathing. Police patrols and motorcycles assisted in the immediate transfer due to traffic congestion at the time. Officers escorted the ambulance, which carried the boy from Moudania, and within 12 minutes, it arrived at Gennimatas Hospital.

The 10-year-old is believed to have had asthma and suffered a cardiac arrest in the ambulance. However, the exact cause of his death is expected to be clarified by the forensic examination.
