The 30-year-old driver of the car, who had been transferred to KAT hospital with severe injuries after a dramatic chase on Kifisos Avenue, lost his battle for life. The chase began in Zephyri and continued as the driver entered the national highway, where he collided with a truck.

During the pursuit, the 30-year-old lost control on the national highway and collided with a truck near Nea Filadelfeia.
