In a nice solidarity initiative, veterans of National Greece and Members of Parliament are joining forces on the pitch to support the life struggle of little Anna at the Open football stadium in Rouf (Serafio) today Wednesday, December 18 at 19:30 in a special charity match football.

Little Anna is an 8-year-old child. She is a fighter who struggles with cerebral palsy and spastic quadriplegia and urgently needs to undergo two critical surgeries in the United States. The surgeries, which will be performed at St. Louis Hospital in Missouri by skilled surgeons, are the only hope to prevent her from being permanently confined to a wheelchair.

Proceeds from the soccer game between the veteran National Team soccer players and the Congressmen’s team will be donated to help little Anna. The match will take place today, 18 December at 19:30 at the open field of Rouf (Serafio) of the Municipality of Athens.

All donations from the race will be used for the operations and rehabilitation of the 8-year-old girl. The cost for the surgeries and the family’s stay in America for a month is 80,000€. Afterward, she will need intensive rehabilitation to achieve the maximum possible results from the surgeries.
