Russia claims to have created a vaccine against most types of cancer

The vaccine has given very encouraging results in its first patient trials and the Russian Ministry of Health has given the green light for mass production - It will be administered to Russian citizens for free

Newsroom December 18 05:33

A vaccine to fight cancer claims to have been developed by scientists from Russia, according to a statement.

Specifically, oncologists and epidemiologists from the Gamaleya National Research Center claim to have developed a mRNA type vaccine that is administered to sufferers of the disease and enables them on the one hand to reduce malignant tumours to more than 70% of their original size in a short time and in a second time to give the body the necessary “tools” to both recognise the cancer cells and destroy them.

Despite the fact that the relevant research was published on December 14, Russia’s Ministry of Healths made the relevant announcements yesterday, with Russian Research and Radiology Center Director Andrey Kaprin stressing that this vaccine will enter production from 2025 and will be administered to Russian citizens for free.

It should be noted that one of the scientists involved in the research and implementation of the vaccine, Alexandre Gintsberg, spoke to the Russian RT network from St. Petersburg, stressing that the vaccine works against most types of cancer and in essence is different for each patient.

The vaccine has given very encouraging results in its first tests on patients and the Russian Health Ministry has given the green light for mass production. In Russia alone in 2022 more than 600,000 people were diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.

It is worth noting that Russia had produced its own vaccine against Covid-19 as well, but without positive results.
