A month after the reopening of Notre Dame de Paris—five years after the devastating fire on April 15, 2019—the iconic monument has already drawn 860,000 visitors.

The numbers are remarkable, with approximately 29,000 people passing through the cathedral’s gates daily. On Thursday evenings, when visiting hours are extended, the number reaches up to 30,000, compared to 23,500 visitors per day before the fire.

The management of this resurgence has been conducted with exemplary organization, as noted by BFMTV. Around 300 volunteers ensure the smooth flow of the 32 visitors entering or leaving the church every minute. Sixty percent of the tickets are available online one or two days in advance, while the remaining 40% are offered on the same day.

The average visit lasts about 32 minutes, though worshippers participating in services stay for up to an hour and a half.
