Fog blanketed several areas of Athensearly this morning with the director of the National Weather Service, Thodoros Kolydas, calling for “caution in driving” in a post on X.

As he explains in his post, “the morning temperature reversal and weak southerly winds for the second time in a month caused the phenomenon in the capital.”

It is recalled that similar images were recorded on January 10 in several areas of Attica

Already X users have posted videos and photos of the fog in Athens, commenting “We have become Thessaloniki”.
