A police operation targeting “spiked” drinks at night establishments in Patras took place on the night from Friday to early Saturday morning.

According to information from the website tempo24.gr, the operation involved both police officers and customs officers, and samples of drinks were taken from night establishments in the center of Patras.

The same news outlet reported that a check was also conducted at the establishment where the 16-year-old—who reported being raped by three young men—had been present and consumed alcohol before the incident.
