“I am a hunter from Platanoulia. There are several groups that go hunting at this particular spot. Until January 15 there was nothing there. We used to go hunting on Wednesdays and weekends. But it wasn’t just us who went, being a group of four people, there were others from around here, from the village. If we didn’t see him the dogs would find him, we have 15 dogs. There is not one in a million that we wouldn’t find him,” the hunter told The STAR.
“At the particular spot where the person (Vassilis Kalogirou) was found, we passed fifty thousand times. After the hunting season ended, at the end of January we walked the dogs again and there was no person there. I cut my head off, we passed fifty thousand times, there was no person there. We have 15 dogs, we’re several people and we go back and forth over the place,” he added.
