Greek Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, met today, Monday, February 24, with the UK’s Minister of State for Defense, Maria Eagle, during his visit to London.
As reported by the Minister on “X” platform, the meeting with Minister Eagle focused on “the potential for further strengthening the defense industry relations between Greece and the United Kingdom, as well as developing collaboration between Greece’s defense innovation ecosystem and the Armed Forces.”

“I met at the UK Ministry of Defence with Maria Eagle, Minister of State for Defence, Minister of State for Defence Industrial Affairs, as part of my visit to London.
We explored the potential for further strengthening of defence industry relations between Greece and the UK, as well as the development of cooperation between the Greek defence innovation ecosystem in the Armed Forces, an integral part of the Agenda 2030 reform, and its British counterpart.”
It may be noted that during his visit to the British capital, the Defence Minister also met the Minister responsible for the Armed Forces, Luke Pollard, as well as the Chairman of the Defence Committee of the House of Commons Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi and members of the Committee.
