Drop in temperature and showers today – The forecast for Tuesday

Cloudy skies with a chance of rain in the east are forecast for Tuesday (4/3) by EMY, with temperatures dropping slightly. Winds will be northwest and strong in places, reaching 8 Beaufort in the sea.

In Attica we expect clouds that will be increasing in places and north winds up to 8 Beaufort with temperatures at 9-13 degrees.

In the morning hours of Tuesday we expect clouds in Thessaloniki, winds 3-4 Beaufort and a temperature of 6 to 14 degrees Celsius.

Until the end of the week the weather will not change, the temperature will rise slightly.

The EMY forecast for Tuesday

On Tuesday, we expect a few clouds in the eastern mainland and locally in the Aegean Sea, with light local rain and in Crete possibly isolated thunderstorms.

Winds will blow northeast, in the west 4 to 6, in the east 5 to 7 and in the Aegean Sea locally up to 8 Beaufort.

The temperature will drop slightly in the central and southern regions. It will reach 13 to 14 degrees Celsius in the east and the northern mainland, 15 to 16 degrees Celsius in the west and the eastern islands and 17 degrees Celsius in the Dodecanese. Frost will occur in the morning hours in some places in the northern continental areas.

For Wednesday (5/3), cloudy weather with local rain and isolated thunderstorms is forecast in Crete, with a gradual improvement after noon. In the rest of the country, generally clear weather, with local clouds in the morning hours in eastern Central Greece, eastern Peloponnese, Evia and the Cyclades.

Winds will blow north northeast 4 to 6 and in the Aegean Sea 7 and possibly locally 8 Beaufort, with gradual weakening from midday. In the west it will blow northeast at 3 to 5 Beaufort.

The temperature will rise towards its maximum values. It will reach 15 to 16 degrees in the eastern mainland and the northern Aegean, 16 to 17 degrees in the west and north and 17 to 19 degrees in the southern Aegean. In the early morning hours there will be local frost in the northwestern continental areas.
