Weather: Clear skies today, temperature rising

The northern winds persist in the sea, in some places they will reach up to 8 Beaufort

The weather is gradually improving, as the EMY forecast for Wednesday calls for a rise in temperature and only spotty rainfall. However, winds will still be north-northeast and will reach up to 8 Beaufort in the sea.

In the next few days the weather will be good all over the country and temperatures will gradually start to rise.

In Athens, a few clouds are expected today (Wednesday) and gradually clear weather. The winds will be from north-northeast directions 5 to 7 Beaufort and in the east in the morning up to 8 Beaufort, while the temperature will range from 9 to 15 degrees Celsius.

The weather will be clear in Thessaloniki, with winds of 3-4 Beaufort and a temperature of 3 to 16 degrees Celsius.

The detailed forecast for Wednesday 5/3

The weather will be generally clear across most of the country today, Wednesday. A few clouds are expected in the Cyclades and in Crete, which will be partly cloudy in Crete where local rain and possibly isolated thunderstorms in the morning will occur.

The winds will blow north northeast 4 to 6 Beaufort and in the Aegean Sea 7 and in the morning locally 8 Beaufort.

The temperature will rise mainly in its maximum values. It will reach 15 to 16 degrees in the eastern mainland and the northern Aegean, 16 to 18 degrees in the west and north and 17 to 19 degrees in the southern Aegean. In the early morning hours there will be local frost in the northwestern continent.

On Thursday, generally clear weather is expected throughout the country.

The winds will blow from the north, in the west 2 to 4 Beaufort, in the east 3 to 5 and in the Aegean 6 Beaufort.

The temperature will rise. It will reach 16 to 18 degrees Celsius in most areas and locally in the mainland, Crete and the Dodecanese up to 20 degrees Celsius. In the early morning hours there will be local frost in the northwestern continent.

On Friday, generally clear weather, with sparse clouds from the afternoon in the west.

Winds will blow in the west variable 2 to 4 Beaufort, in the east from northerly directions 3 to 5 and in the Aegean Sea locally up to 6 Beaufort.

The temperature will rise slightly further and will exceed 20 degrees Celsius locally on the mainland.
