The result of the vote on the motion of no-confidence signed by 85 opposition MPs was announced.

The motion of no confidence against the government was rejected by the Parliament.

A total of 293 MPs voted.

The “against” votes were 157, with independent Charis Katsivardas voting against it, and the “for” votes were 136.

Seven MPs were absent: former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, the independent (from New Democracy) Marios Salmas and the five MPs of the Spartans party.
